Lisa LouisignauDesignation: Licensed Cosmetologist
Lisa worked in a local school system for 15 years. After raising three daughters, she wanted a new career to occupy her time. Cosmetology sounded like fun and looked like a good fit, so she attended the Up North School of Cosmetology. She joined Trillium as a stylist immediately after graduation, and just four years later in 2014, she became part owner.
Lisa specializes in both Aveda color and Aveda cutting. She loves helping people look and feel their best.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that guests sometimes hesitate to ask questions because they worry about looking silly or “stupid.” I can assure you, NO question is stupid. I will take time to talk about your needs.
Born in raised in Cheboygan, Lisa enjoys flea markets, antiquing, and decorating her home. She has three grown daughters and lives with her three favorite pooches, Jakson, Nikki, and Lucca.
Favorite products: Foot Relief and Hand Relief, because they are both highly moisturizing and exfoliating without being oily on your skin

Marge MarkerDesignation: Licensed Massage Therapist & Naturopath
Marge started her career as a Managerial Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Business Administration and has nearly two decades of experience in Business and Finance.
Marge then spent 16 years in the beauty industry as an independent contractor performing and training on skin care application, makeup artistry, time management, money management, goal setting, dressing for success, color analysis, and facilitating spiritual gifts and DISC personality workshops. She felt limited though, by the fact that she couldn’t apply makeup and skin care to her customers, so she enrolled in the Houghton Lake Institute of Cosmetology, LLC.
Shortly thereafter, Marge became seriously ill and, with the encouragement of her husband, decided to close her business and focus on her health. After several years of unsuccessful results with traditional medicine, Marge began to explore natural healing. Within two years Marge began to see vast improvements in her health and decided to turn her disaster into a new career and has recently earned a degree in naturopathy and is a Certified National Health Professional.
In 2011 Marge merged her vision with Trillium founder, Ruthi Hanna and became a Co-owner January 1, 2012. She offers Holistic Assessment & Education, Massage Therapy, AromaTouch Therapy, Bach Flower Therapy, and doTERRA oils consultations.
My favorite thing about my job at Trillium is how satisfying it is to help people. Whether I’m educating guests in areas like natural health care, skin care, or makeup artistry; or delivering a healing touch through massage or doTERRA therapeutic oils, I know I’m making a real difference in people’s lives. That means a lot to me.
In her free time, Marge enjoys reading. She and her husband are Northern Michigan natives who have lived here all of their lives. They love spending time with their three children and five grandchildren, and recently welcomed a great-grandchild to the family.
Sierra CentalaDesignation: Licensed Massage Therapist
Sierra has always been interested in a career where she could help others whether it be physically or emotionally feel better.
After a couple of months going back and forth whether or not to enter into nursing or massage, the answer became clear. I could help others help themselves in the massage field. I fell in love with the field after giving my first massage!
Sierra has always loved the Petoskey area because of its inviting atmosphere. Her favorite hobbies are reading, biking, exploring nature, and going on family trips where she can relax and enjoy nature. Sierra’s favorite service to perform is the 90 minute full-body massage. She feels it is the perfect amount of time for her to work on the body.
Guest Services & Administration
Samantha MakarewiczDesignation: Guest Services
Samantha was asked to help out Trillium Wellness and Day Spa when she was still in high school. There was an opening position for administration work and guest services. She immediately thought that this position would fit her personality since she is a people person. She has been working in guest services ever since.
Samantha lives outside of Petoskey with her husband and little one, Chenadi. She loves doing outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
My favorite thing about Trillium is the people-both our clients and employees. I work with some of the most hard working, intelligent, and loving people. They are like family to me.
Samantha loves the Aveda hair products called “Be Curly.” This product works fabulously and she says it is the best product she has ever used for her curly locks.
