Add natural style to short hair and achieve a tousled, textured look with Aveda’s Global Creative Director, Antoinette Beenders. First, use Aveda Color Conserve™ Shampoo & Conditioner to wash and condition hair. Color Conserve products help protect and preserve color-treated hair. (Aveda offers other shampooing and conditioning products if you have different needs.) Spray Brilliant™ Damage Control™ and comb it through. This protects hair from thermal damage and reduces breakage. Apply Phomollient™ Styling Foam, which provides weightless volume with light hold, and comb it through. Add a nozzle attachment to your blow dryer and set to high heat, high speed. Dry until hair is about 60% dry. Next, finger dry.

It can be an unsettling feeling, though, to suddenly start losing more hair, or to start noticing gradual hair loss in the mirror. If you notice more hair than usual in your hair brush or on your pillow.
